Chiropractic Pregnancy

A DECREASED LABOR TIME CAN BE THE RESULT OF RECEIVING CHIROPRACTIC CARE DURING PREGNANCY!

"This is my third pregnancy and first time I've had chiropractic care throughout entire pregnancy. I wish I had found Dr. Chris earlier as going to her has minimized and eliminated most of my pregnancy aches and pains. It has been amazing."  AB

The nervous system controls all the functions of the body, including labor. Chiropractic adjustments ensure that there is no interference with the normal process of childbirth. Optimum nerve supply will allow the cervix to dilate and the uterus to contact rhythmically and forcefully to facilitate the natural birthing process. Alignment of the pelvis ensures the maximum amount of room for the baby to exit. The hormones necessary to initiate and continue the labors process are also controlled by the nervous system. Dr. Anderson has seen how chiropractic has helped women experience the labor and delivery they envisioned.

Gentle chiropractic care is wonderful for pregnant women because it is drugless and will not harm the baby. Instead, chiropractic adjustments can enhance the functioning of the placenta to ensure that the baby is receiving an optimum amount of nourishment for proper growth and development. Dr. Anderson even has a special table which allows you to lay on your stomach comfortably.

SAFE, NATURAL CHIROPRACTIC CARE CAN HELP: * Headache * Backache * Leg Pain & Sciatica * Morning Sickness * Hemorrhoids * Constipation * Swelling * Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Chiropractic care can also help with complications that arise during pregnancy, such as toxemia, and is beneficial in high risk pregnancies, such as previous miscarriage and incompetent cervix.

BREECH TURNING PROTOCOL

The "grandfather of pediatrics", the late Dr. Larry Webster, developed a chiropractic adjusting protocol for turning babies with a breech presentation. This protocol does not involve manual version of the baby and therefore is much safer. Dr. Anderson was taught the breech turning protocol by Dr. Webster himself and has had good results when beginning at least 2 weeks prior to the due date.
